Solo busco un poco de tierra
Un suelo mío en donde pueda pisar
Una tierra mía en dónde pueda llorar
A soil of mine
Une terre que je puisse appeler ma terre, ma maison, ma famille
Quiero sentirme un poco más en tierra
Cuando estoy tan lejos

“Toi, t'est courageuse”
Someone once told me, y tuve un nudo en la garganta
When I'm here all alone with my body only
In a far away place from my home
Lejos de casa
Cuando mi lugar seguro se transforma
Et il n'est plus l'endroit de mon enfance
Cuando mi lugar familiar se transforma
Et il n'est plus l'endroit de mon enfance
Otra tierra
Otra familia

¿La raíz sigue siendo la raíz ?
J'ai perdu un peu les repères
Les points cardinales
Il n'y a plus un endroit que j'appelle “ma terre”
Solo hay personas a las que llamo “mi tierra”
No tengo un lugar donde pueda velar por mis muertos
There isn’t a place where I can weep
Where can I grieve?
Cuando estoy tan lejos de las cenizas
I float in place that exists only in my memory, where I can come back every time and invent them eternally,
again and again, and
Again
And
Again

Porque recordar es seleccionar, es re-inventar, es re-visitar
Reinventar es imaginar
Fantasear
Recrear en la memoria
Unir piezas
y generalizar

Sara Tillería Durango

Sara Tillería Durango (Quito, Ecuador) is a young researcher in Social Anthropology and a photographer. She lives and works in Paris. She is a professed intersectional and decolonial feminist. At present, she is studying a PhD in Sociology at the University of Paris 8 (CRESPPA-GTM). Her current research focuses on violence against women, human trafficking, sexual work and the different experiences of migrant women in France. Her methodologies include ethnography, life stories, and the analysis of national and international public policies. She also works in a Parisian organisation on a project with migrant people living in marginal neighbourhoods in the Ile-de-France region.
